The beautiful scenery of the coral reefs in the Andaman Islands is something extraordinary. You are sure to be blown away by its splendour. It has a rich marine life and the corals here are amazingly colourful and vibrant. There is a lot to see under the water and snorkelling is a great way to do that. We offer guided snorkelling sessions at Nemo Reef, which is counted among the top sites for snorkelling in Havelock Island.
Snorkelling is an ideal option for those who want to get a glimpse of the marine world but don’t want to feel the heaviness of the scuba gear. The duration of the entire activity is around three hours. You will be reaching Havelock Island Beach Resort at Govind Nagar Beach first for this activity. We will provide you with a pick-up and drop-off facility within a 3 km radius from Havelock Island Beach Resort to our dive centre. (except for guests staying at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa and Barefoot).
Nemo Beach is one of the last in the world to have an active and alive ocean and is ranked among the best places for snorkelling. Surrounding the island are blue waters, vivid and brilliant coral reefs, and a diverse marine life that includes reef fish, turtles, and even friendly rays. What I like best about this snorkel experience is that it is relatively relaxed, and buddy friendly for novice snorkelers, with warm water, light currents, and good visibility on most days to keep it easy to look below the water by breathing through a snorkel.
Snorkelling is something that children over ten years of age can do and adults and younger people up to sixty can participate under the right supervision, if you have a snorkeler who has experience beside you. Snorkelling is an activity that is extremely generalised or seen as simple and unknown and with the correct supervision will help provide you many hours of adventures in wonderful Havelock Islands. Even though thousands of tourists from around the globe have been allowed to snorkel in the Islands there are quite few restrictions which have to be followed by tourists before they enter the islands.
