Meant for young scuba divers, PADI Seal Team is the best program for those who love to be in the water and would love to be a part of an underwater adventure. It will include diving with flashlights, taking digital pictures underwater, floating effortlessly like an astronaut, and much more. Along with learning basic scuba diving skills, you will also undergo speciality AquaMissions like wreck diving, navigation, buoyancy, environmental awareness, etc. you will do some cool stuff in the pool and make friends by sharing your love for the adventure of the underwater world. A child must be 8 years of age or older to join the PADI Seal Team. One doesn’t need to have a prior experience in scuba diving but they should be comfortable in the water. Academic

Responsibility and respect for the aquatic realm are taught in the PADI Seal Team program. It involved the following 2 parts:

Part one, AquaMissions 1 – 5

It will include basic diving skills such as:

  • Breathing underwater
  • Clearing a mask of water
  • Recovering a regulator 
  • Swimming around experiencing the sensation of being weightless

Each session is for nearly an hour. After completing these AquaMissions, you will become a recognized PADI Seal Team Member. This experience will also contribute to the PADI Open Water Diver course when you are old enough to take that course.

Part two, 10 speciality AquaMissions

This part will include the following adventures:

  • Creature identification
  • Search and recovery diving
  • Skin diving

After completing these AquaMissions, you will become a recognized PADI Master Seal Team Member, which is an elite group of young divers.
